Kingstown St. Vincent, March 18th, 2019: Final preparations are currently being made here as St. Vincent and the Grenadines gets ready to welcome Their Royal Highnesses the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall on Wednesday March 20th 2019.

During the recent inter-sessional Conference of Heads of State and Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM in St., Kitts and Nevis, the principal shareholder governments of LIAT (1974) Limited provided information to the Conference about the current financial condition and its immediate prospects for survival or development in its existing framework.

Members of the local constabulary have over the past two days been engaged in a two-day training workshop aimed at sharpening their communication Skills.

Recognizing that the role of securing the borders of St. Vincent and the Grenadines is a pivotal duty for Immigration officers, the Passports and Immigration Department has moved to ensure that its workers are properly equipped to handle the task.
