EMERGENCY SHELTERS 2019

Reduction in juvenile crime and violence across CARIFORUM States is one of the outcomes of a five- day workshop which was held here entitled: “Case Management for Persons Working with Juvenile Offenders.”  

St. Vincent and the Grenadines now has 38 more skilled persons in level 1 Caribbean Vocational Qualification (CVQ) Data Operations, Food and Drinks Service, Food Preparation and Cookery, Electrical Installation, and Welding.

Kate-lynn Bobb, a grade 6 student, of the Stubbs Government School emerged the winner in the Health Promotion Unit in the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment public speaking competition.  Bobb successfully debated the topic: “Antivacs – a threat to advancements in public health”.  

Grade 6 students registered for the 2019 Caribbean Primary Exit Assessment (CPEA) concluded their final examination on Friday May 17th, 2019. Of the 1785 students registered, 1780 wrote the final examination: 925 males and 855 females.
